With more than eight years experience in instructional design, a Master's degree in English, and a project management history of more than ten years, Pfeiffer brings creative insight, superb writing skills, and deep technical competence to his work. Through his company, Intersect Incorporated, he designs, develops, and manages complex, technically demanding, corporate training, sales, and marketing projects. Since 2005, he has also been working with the Nashua School District in Nashua, NH to design, build and open a 4300 square foot television production facility.
Pfeiffer's experience includes end-to-end high-technology product launch management. These projects require hands-on development of a myriad of print materials such as press releases, customer success stories, product data sheets, literature packages, direct mail programs, sales briefings, technical presentations and web-site development. He has designed interactive DVD, CD-ROM and web-based training programs, produced video-based image, marketing and communication programs and, for the retail market, wrote and produced a nationally distributed study skills curriculum.
In early 2000, on a consulting basis, he managed world-wide marketing and communications activities for a financial services software firm with offices in New York, London and Singapore. Just prior to that engagement, for another client, he developed a techncial curriculum on enterprise data center storage which he then delivered to data center administrators technical sales support personnel throughout North America. Students in 11 cities consistently rated him "highly-effective" as a classroom instructor.
His experience in broadcast television defines an approach that achieves business objectives through the concise, crystal-clear distribution of essential information. Pfeiffer worked on an Emmy award winning instructional series for Public Television, and a series on America's early space program. His field production experience includes contributions to NBC News, Fox News, The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, and location work for the Arts and Entertainment Cable Network.
