From 1998 through 1999, I worked extensively for Compaq Computer Corporation Mass Storage Group in support of their line of "Storageworks" products. This work involved writing white papers and technical backgrounders and evolved into curriculum development and live "on-site" training of technical sales support, resellers, and key clients. Since this training is highly valued by the company and the students who take it, the substance is proprietary. On this site I have included the cover from the course, and two pages from one of the modules covering generic and publicly available information on RAID technology. That is as far as I can go given the confidential nature of this material. Through this process, I have become quite knowledgeable about mass storage configuration strategies.
